Geriatric Certified Specialists (GCS) are physical therapists who have demonstrated clinical expertise in working with geriatric clients in various settings. The geriatric specialist addresses the unique medical and functional problems associated with aging, incorporating aspects of prevention, fitness, wellness,consultation and teaching in addition to the rehabilitative model of care for those elderly with pathological conditions.
