August 2017
 August 23, 2017 @ 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM

On July 25, 2017, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Calendar Year 2018 Home Health PPS proposed rule. Within the rule, CMS proposes to modify the home health payment system by implementing a new model, entitled the Home Health Grouping Model (HHGM), which would become effective on January 1, 2019. Given the potential impact of HHGM adoption, APTA and the Home Health Section would like to provide members with detailed information on the proposal being put forth by CMS.

To that end, APTA and the Home Health Section will co-host a webinar via Adobe Connect on Wednesday, August 23rd from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. EST to share information on the provisions included within the Home Health PPS proposed rule, solicit input from members on their concerns regarding CMS’s proposed changes to the home health payment system, and provide information and guidance on how members may engage in the rule-making process.

Participation is free and limited to APTA members on a first-come, first-served basis. The recording of the webinar will be posted following the call.

If you would like to attend the webinar, please RSVP by email prior to August 23rd. Those who have RSVP’d will receive a link from APTA that directs them to the webinar.

Read more about the proposed rule.
